Only what the site needs

Virtual Harar uses a small number of essential cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics that follow you around.

The cookies we set

• Session cookie keeps you signed in and remembers things like a form you are filling in.
• Form protection token protects forms against requests sent from other websites.

Both are removed when your session ends or when you sign out.

On your device

The day planner keeps your sketched stops in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back. They never leave your device and you can clear them from the planner.

Your language

The language you read the site in is part of the address (for example /am for Amharic). We do not store it in a cookie.

If we ever add analytics or other optional cookies, we will ask for your permission first and update this page.
