Booking requests

A booking on Virtual Harar is a request. You choose a listing, dates and an option, and the provider confirms or declines. Your booking is not confirmed until it shows as Confirmed in your account.

Prices

The price is calculated on our servers from the provider's rates and shown before you send the request. Any extra fees the provider charges are described in the listing.

Payment

Paying online is not available yet. Your booking shows as unpaid and the provider tells you how to pay. Telebirr is a planned integration. When it opens, a booking will be marked as paid only after the payment has been verified on our servers.

Availability

We check availability when you send the request and again when the provider answers. If something is no longer available, we tell you.

Cancellation and refunds

The cancellation conditions of each listing are shown before you book, and the version you accepted is kept with your booking. You can cancel an active booking from your account. Any refund is settled with the provider under those conditions.

Changes

To change a confirmed booking, cancel it and send a new request, or contact the provider.
